The beach access was a highlight, nice for immediate relaxation without the need for long walks. Poolside food and drinks were fairly priced.
Performance issues with the Wi-Fi are a serious bummer, requiring guests to crowd around the reception for internet access instead of enjoying it from their rooms, a letdown. The beds are notably firm, arguably too hard for some, and the pillows could use an upgrade from their prison-like comfort. The bathrooms and rooms have a tired appearance and could benefit from some serious cleaning and updating. And when it comes to noise, the air conditioning units are far from subtle. All this doesn't quite add up for a premium stay, even at a fair price.

Beautiful location
The hotel was very run-down and in serious need of a renovation. The hotel is used by a Russian package tour company, which means that the majority of guests are Russians. The remaining guest were mainly middle-aged couples, who spent their entire holiday by the pool and in the hotel's restaurant and bar. The staff were not as friendly and smiling as you usually experience in Thailand. Breakfast buffet was ok, but nothing spectacular. As a "mature packpacker" couple in our late 30s, we felt slightly out of place and primarily used the hotel as a base. A real shame, as the hotel could have been a great place with better maintenance and a different clientele.

It was in a fantastic and amazing location with a sand beach nearby. The breakfast was EXCELLENT, we would stay there again.

beachfront access, spacious balconies, complimentary garden area
Rooms need immediate refurbishing!!! Damp odors linger in the air, shower fixtures require upgrades, some furniture appears tired and worn, outdated air conditioning units are disturbingly noisy!!!

Greatly enjoyed our stay at the hotel and would stay here again. It was an absolutely fantastic place, had very amiable and excellent staff on behalf of the receptionist. Its unbeatable, central location was a plus.

Heaps loved the beach access, but the Wi-Fi was pretty dodgy and the air con was as noisy as a jet. Still, the staff were choice and breakfast was decent.

The Aloha is a hidden gem! The pastries at breakfast had us dreaming, and the nearby Kingston Jamaica Bar & Restaurant served up some delicious local flavors. Plus, the pool area was a lovely spot to wind down after exploring, with fine views of the ocean.

Recommend it for families
The hotel has a fine view with a big swimming pool and a beach that was practically empty. My family loved the spacious rooms, and the fact that we could step directly from our room to the pool was a game changer for us. It seemed like our little paradise.
It wasn't exactly budget-friendly but honestly, we found it acceptable for what we got.

Perfect beach getaway!
Had the best time chilling by the beach with our own sun loungers. The coconut water from the restaurant was a daily treat! The place was super quiet. Only bummer was the air con in our bungalow. It was kinda loud. Walked to the center in just 5 mins. Def a great spot for a group trip!
